Kazumichi Komatsu

*Kazumichi Komatsu is a sound artist and composer. Born in Kochi, Japan, in 1992, he is currently studying at Faculty of Painting of the Kyoto City University of Arts. Based on the background of cyberculture, his works are varied from music, video to installation, as if abstract images become to be converted into unique sequences, layering the minute phenomenon and changes that exist inside and outside of cities, natures, media and memories. His projects have been shownin Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Shanghai, Barcelona or Paris. Among others, he has collaborated with PUGMENT, Hicham Berrada or Théo Casciani for a live reading(some extracts of this performance are used in this sound collage).
